Return Policy
We offer 30-day returns from the date your order is delivered.
If Brighter is not right for your space, you can return it within 30 days for any reason. We cover return shipping, and your original shipping cost will also be refunded for domestic orders.
To be eligible for a return, your lamp must be carefully handled and returned in its original packaging, with all original parts and accessories. You are welcome to open it, set it up, and test it at home. Think of it like trying on a new pair of shoes indoors. You can try them for fit, but not take them out into the mud.
To start a return, email team@getbrighter.com with your order number, and we will send you a prepaid return shipping label along with return instructions.

Returns we cannot accept
Returns are not eligible for a refund if the product has been damaged, altered, or handled beyond normal at-home testing.
This includes:
- visible cosmetic damage such as scuffs, scratches, dents, or marks
- modified or manipulated hardware, including any changes to wiring, components, or internal parts
- missing original packaging, parts, or accessories
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email team@getbrighter.com and we will make it right.
Brighter is backed by a 5 year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If something goes wrong after delivery, reach out to team@getbrighter.com and our team will help.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your Brighter for a different finish or variation, email team@getbrighter.com with your order number and we will help arrange the exchange.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will confirm your refund by email.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
If it has been more than 15 business days since your refund was approved, please contact team@getbrighter.com.
European Union 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is delivered to a country in the European Union, you also have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason. The item must still be carefully handled and returned in its original packaging, with all original parts and accessories.
